Hey All,
Events this WEEK:
CHRISTMAS PARTY - BE LOOKING FOR AN INVITATION TO THE BEST CHRISTMAS PARTY EVER! RSVP REQUIRED DECEMBER 12th at 6:00pm.
PARENTS MEETING - TOMORROW - Tuesday November 7th at 6:30pm. We will begin looking at Spring Events.
PRAYER/FUNDRAISING LETTERS - Due to me by DECEMBER 22!!! Don't forget you have to turn these into me as part of your mission preparation. 5-10 letters asking for prayer support (and financial if you would like) to non-Epiphany members! They need to be in an envelop, addressed and sealed and on my door by December 22nd.

COLORADO MISSION MTG - THIS WEDNESDAY is the 1st of 2 REQUIRED mission prep meetings for the COLORADO TEAM. Please come to the Youth room with your parents at 6:30pm for this meeting! Please let TONI know ASAP (in writing) if you are not able to attend.
HARRY POTTER LOCKIN - THE WATSON FAMILY IS HOSTING AN ALL YOUTH (AND FRIENDS) HARRY POTTER MARATHON. We will be watching all 6 movies back to back, eating, drinking and playing games. The event will conclude with a trip to the theater to see the NEW HARRY POTTER 7 part 1. RSVP REQUIRED FOR TICKETS BY WEDNESDAY 11/17!!!!!!

FAMILY SERVICE PROJECT - Don't forget to bring small toys, school supplies or novelty items for our Christmas Child boxes we will be making this Sunday at the FAMILY SERVICE PROJECT! These boxes go to children around the world as their Christmas gift. Help spread the holiday cheer.

TRUNK OR TREAT - come to help at this awesome family fun event. We will need youth, in costume, to welcome people, pass out flyers and candy, and to help with the bounce house. We need families to decorate their cars and give out candy! Youth/Parents who want to help need to arrive between 3 and 3:20. The event is 4-6.

FUNDRAISING - Sign up with Penny Lalanne to be apart of the Mission Brunch this Sunday. You can bring food or work the brunch to earn money for your mission trip. YOU MUST RSVP as it is first come first earn! Only those that RSVP for the limited spots to work will get to earn $. Everyone can bring something and earn towards your account.
JR HI RETREAT IS COMING UP - PARENTS I NEED TWO VOLUNTEERS TO GO ON THIS OVERNIGHT EVENT!!! I will be at my homecoming celebration that weekend. Our youth are gathering at Epiphany at 5:00pm and will travel together to All Saints. It is an overnight Friday and then home again Saturday at 5:00pm. Please let me know if you can chaperone this event.

FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT - Bring your family, your pillows and blankets and come watch THE PRINCESS BRIDE at Epiphany. We will begin the film at 6:00pm in St. Margaret's Hall. Bring your own drink and we will provide the popcorn.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - Starts this Sunday! Make sure you bring your bible!!!
SERVANT SUNDAY - THIS SUNDAY 12:30pm - 4:30pm we will be going to the CC YOUNG Retirement community to host a Bingo and Cookies Party. We need students to bring small prizes like lotions, decks of cards, stationary, combs or little nick knacks. This servant sunday is all about bringing joy through our presence to people who often get few or no visitors. Come make a difference in their week! Events this WEEK:
PARENTS MEETING TONIGHT 6:30pm in the youth room.
PARENTS - Registration forms for your student must be turned in (fully completed and signed by your student) prior to the start of the youth program. If you didn't make it to the Rally, forms were mailed to you in your monthly parent packet. Have your student bring them to the first meeting of the year! :)
Fall Rally - DEADLINE SEPT 8th - Toni needs your forms and $ for the Fall Rally no later than WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 8th. You can't attend without RSVPing with your form and $ so get them in quick and don't miss out on the fun!
SATURDAY - FALL RALLY - We will meet in the youth room on Saturday morning and leave for All Saints at 8:30am. We will need to have closed toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing. We will return to the church by 6:00pm.
SUNDAY - SUNDAY SCHOOL - Starts this Sunday! Make sure you bring your bible!!!

YOUTH GROUP STARTS THIS WEEK!!!
Weekly meetings start this Wednesday with the JR HI EYC at 6:00pm in the youth room! ON Sunday our SR HI will gather at 6:00pm (NEW TIME) in the youth room. Come have fun!!!
PARENTS - Registration forms for your student must be turned in (fully completed and signed by your student) prior to the start of the youth program. If you didn't make it to the Rally, forms were mailed to you in your monthly parent packet. Have your student bring them to the first meeting of the year! :)

Well summer vacation is slowly coming to an end, and the new year is steadily moving closer!
To make sure we greet this new year with proper jubilation we are planning a couple fun events!

Thursday
Today we served at the Exceptional Foundation which is a center for mentally handicapped people. We spent the whole day in their summer camp program. We played games, did crafts, watched a movie. It was awesome!

This evening we worked at the Presbyterian church and fed 150 people a hot meal. We noticed some familiar faces from other feeding programs.

Memphis Bible Studies
Most mornings and every evening we gathered for bible study, debrief, and discussion. Most of the time those studies and discussions were lively and could have gone on for ever! In the morning Bible studies we definitely had some encounters with the sleepy kind! :)

Wednesday Evening
Tonight we did a clothing swap for one of the projects in down town Memphis. We loaded a school bus to over flowing with clothes rejected from thrift stores and took them to a park in the middle of the complex. We laid them out on tarps and people were invited to take what they want. It was frenzy and chaotic but fun and crazy too.
Our youth worked hard and got sweaty and then had fun hunting for treasures and playing dress up.

We went to the Slave Haven today. This was a house on the underground railroad that help house and feed runaway slaves.
We got to tour the house, the secrete room and learn a lot about the underground railroad.

Wednesday AM
Today we started at the Raymond Skinner where we worked with mentally and physically handicapped children. Our youth came up with a VBS style program with skits, crafts and games. It was awesome!!!
